Holds a PhD in sociology and also an MA in intercultural relations. She is a faculty member at the Institute of Applied Social Sciences, University of Warsaw. Her doctoral thesis (at the Institute of Sociology) was about interethnic neighbor relations in Warsaw. Her research interests include social contact in the context of diversity, integration and migration. She is also active in the fields of participation and conflict management.
